Guest Hosts

Nicolas del Pozo

Illusionist

A rising star among French magicians, Nicolas del Pozo developed a passion for the art from a very young age. When he was very young, he spent his afternoons watching magic shows and circuses and tried to reproduce what he had seen. By age 12, he had created his first magic show.

As an adult, he began his career in the tourism industry, working as a receptionist at Disneyland Paris. After seven years, however, he decided to change his life and devote himself entirely to his passion.

He launched his new career in Las Vegas, where he met the greatest illusionists in the world, learning from them and honing his craft. He returned to his hometown in the south of France with enough tricks under his belt to perform a big show there. A perfectionist, he surrounded himself with an excellent dance troupe and choreographer and set out on a two-year tour across the length and breadth of France.

In 2015, he became the first illusionist in the ring of Sweden’s biggest circus, The Maximum Circus, which toured throughout the country, even above the Arctic Circle. He has since taken his skills all over the world—including French Polynesia, aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin. See this mesmerizing show from this master of illusion aboard The Gauguin.
