Uncover Photographic Treasures of Moorea with Photographer Renaud Fayada

Jesse Kalisher and Roger Paperno join photographer Renaud Fayada to uncover the island's photographic treasures in this unique and once-in-a-lifetime photographic experience. Your tour will begin with a drive to the interior of the island along large pineapple fields and past sub- tropical forests dotted with ancient archeological sites. En route, a stop will be made at Belvedere’s lookout point for spectacular views and photo opportunities of Rotui, a beautiful mountain separating Cook’s Bay and the pristine Opunohu Bay. At every step of the way, Roger and Jesse will coach you on how to compose the perfect photograph, how to use your equipment to its fullest potential (be it a point- and -shoot or a high-end DSLR). Next, you will drive along the coastal road to the island’s west coast, where you will take expansive views of lush green vegetation, beautifully manicured gardens, a turquoise blue lagoon, and the Pacific Ocean’s endless horizon. Weather permitting, you will photograph sites that include the famed Magic Mountain, which overlooks the northern part of the island and offers spectacular aerial views of the barrier reef. The highlight of this photo-adventure tour will include visits to off-road locations in the island’s interior. Additional sites to be seen include the Papetoai fishing village and the interior of the crater.

Unique Off-road Photographic Adventure in Bora Bora

Our group will mount up in a unique off-road photographic adventure that traverses the road-rarely-traveled. We’ll spend much of the day exploring places accessible only by Land Rover, photographing everything from the flora and vistas to the unique village life of Bora Bora. You’ll start in the small town of Vaitape on the shore of Pofai Bay and then ascend to photograph the amazing views of Bora Bora’s harbor as seen from the top of Pahonu Hill. You’ll continue on to photograph the relic WWII U.S. Marine Corps cannons untouched in their original locations, as well as spectacular views and flora at a majestic mountainside plantation. At every step of the way, celebrated photographers Jesse Kalisher and Roger Paperno will help you get the most out of your camera while helping you identify and develop your creative voice. How and where is it best to add in something for perspective? And how do we get that silken look from moving water? Most of all, how do we find the perfect shot in the midst of this perfect place? How do photographers look for to capture the majesty of such a spectacular landscape? You'll cover it all and more on this island that delivers one amazing photograph after another.
