Photographer Biographies
Roger Paperno

Working on location is a source of excitement for me. I love trying to overcome and solve the zillion little challenges that are encountered in the real world. My goal is for you to feel that my photo is real, not staged and that you, the viewer, are a part of it, Roger says. His clients include: The Gap, Saturn Cars, Specialized Bicycles, Banana Republic, Norwegian Cruise Line, Crystal Cruise Line, Holiday Inn, Regent Cruise Line, Carnival Corporation, Seabourn Cruise Line, Sol Melia Resorts, Doral Golf and Country Club, Hard Rock Casino, Mohegan Sun Casino, Costa Cruise Line, and many more.
Jesse Kalisher

I am fascinated by the world we live in and consider myself lucky to able to photograph it, says Jesse. Jesse's photography is in the permanent collections of museums around the world, including The Louvre and The Smithsonian, among many others. Jesse has also led workshops from Alaska to Europe. Spending a week immersed in photography with other enthusiasts is a real treat. And being able to share my passion and my perspective is a delight, he says. Jesse is always in search of a story to tell with his camera and is never more at home than when he's traveling to far-flung and exotic locales. This promises to be the perfect combination of travel, photography and learning, he says.
Helen Kalisher

Helen's philosphy is that images are ideas, and how we treat those images, how we process them, can determine everything about what they say, Helen says. She is a graduate of London's Chelsea School of Art. After graduating, Helen specialized in designing logos, packaging, and web pages for Apple Computer. In addition, she has designed travel guides for Dorling Kindersley and currently is the Creative Director for The Jesse Kalisher Gallery, overseeing all post-production and Photoshop work. Helen created a Photoshop Basics workshop that she's taught around the world. She coached people on everything from basic to master and advanced Photoshop skills.
