Just as important to us as recognition from our industry are accolades from guests of the m/s Paul Gauguin. Here is just a sampling of the feedback we’ve been privileged to receive:
“We drank in the unspoiled beauty of French Polynesia for ten days while we were utterly spoiled by sumptuous meals and other services provided for us by your staff and crew. No wonder your ship has the unparalleled reputation of the best cruise to enjoy the South Pacific and Tahiti. Thank you for making our 30th wedding anniversary trip so special.” —Mr. and Mrs. Chittick
"We just returned from our seventh cruise on the Paul Gauguin (since 2000). Initially we were a little concerned if things would be the same with the new ownership. Well, once again the ship and its crew exceeded our expectations. Of course, this can be hard to do, because it always has been the best cruise ship ever - in my opinion. There's very little that could be done to improve this ship, but a few new touches were very nice, such as new chairs by the pool with comfy headrests. Plus, we heard that new chairs and equipment were coming this month to the private island. The caring, friendly, and hard-working crew were still onboard - and they are an absolute joy to be around. They couldn't have spoiled us more. So glad the band, Siglo, were still performing onboard. While they are promoted by the cruise line as "the best band in the South Seas: - we think they are "best band at sea", they are so talented and can play anything. We will be back - thank you for keeping the Paul Gauguin with the same superb standards! —Kathy Stacken
“We would like to thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. The service has been wonderful, the staff is very kind and friendly, and the food has been fabulous. We really appreciate the effort that all the staff has made to make us feel welcome and to look after all our needs.”—Mr. Ken Sellars & Mrs. Vivan De Giovanni
“You have ruined the possibility of our enjoying any other cruise line in the future! Your staff was capable and warm, and the generosity with which your guests were treated was exemplary. Many, many thanks for a memorable experience.”—Mr. Joseph L. Kronick
“Our cruise on the m/s Paul Gauguin was one of the most memorable cruises we have ever taken. The ship and service blew us away – the service was the best we ever had. This was one fantastic trip and a ‘must see’ for anyone that wants to visit French Polynesia. We are looking forward to another adventure on the m/s Paul Gauguin.”—Ken and Betsy Cave
"The cruise was fantastic. We are still blown away by the high quality of the ship, service and crew. The service and the attention we have received from everyone on board was incredible. Bartender Jorge knew all of our names and favorite drinks within a couple days. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary, and the Polynesian Blessing we received (thanks to Michael, the Cruise Director) was a wonderful touch! And the food! Oh my....heavenly! I am spoiled for life. It was truly an unforgettable experience and you helped make this possible. Again, thanks a million! We surely hope to come back to the m/s Paul Gauguin again!—John Strednansky & Rebecca Ormsby
"My husband, Dennis, and I sailed from February 26 – March 5, 2010. We had the best cruise experience ever. Between the 2 of us we have sailed on 17 cruises. The food was delicious, service excellent, etc 100%. We would especially like to recognize the Maitre’d in the Veranda dining room. Ivan went above the call!! He always was courteous and most importantly very professional. Also, the dive staff were fabulous, Big Martin and little Martin were the best!! They made an anxious and novice diver fell at ease and wanting to return again. Jerome and Clement were equally cordial as well. Our cabin stewardess, Rebecca was the best, sweetest, and talented. Our cabin was always spotless!!! Verity did an outstanding job keeping the passengers upbeat with the rainy weather. The bartenders were all very witty and had very high standards. Again, we just wanted the cruise line to know what a wonderful cruise and experience we encountered." —Dennis & Lynne T
