Cruises visiting Wainwright, Alaska (United States)

At the end of a Zodiac® outing, you will disembark on Wainwright Lagoon, located on the Chukchi Sea. You will be struck by the immensity and the silence of this landscape, typical of Arctic Alaska. During this port of call, your expedition leader and the naturalists will guide you on a walk across the wet tundra, where you will have the chance to observe a great number of nesting birds, but also diverse plant and flower species, including willow shoots, cranberry-laden bushes, lichen and grass.
