Initial Lead: Ever since my first day on a cruise aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin, I have wanted my clients to experience that same sensation of paradise.

Budget: Not unlimited, but based on a good quality-price ratio

Nights Requested: 3 nights in a premium overwater bungalow at the InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa + 3 nights at the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa + a 7-night Tahiti & the Society Islands cruise in a C balcony

Final Booking Cost: $19,500

Sales Approach: Clients who had traveled with me previously on a big cruise ship wanted to do a Tahiti cruise aboard a similar vessel. I knew these people needed something more than what you can experience on board a big ocean liner: they needed to get closer to the islands and immerse themselves in the Polynesian culture. And I knew firsthand that that is exactly what Paul Gauguin Cruises offers.

I started by telling them about my own voyage to Tahiti, and they started dreaming. They looked at photos and listened to my story, and you could see the stars in their eyes. You don’t go that far for one week only! We started by adding three nights in a premium overwater bungalow in Moorea and another three nights at the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa. Everybody wants to go to Bora Bora! No need to say a word when they see photographs. For a lot of people, going to Polynesia is the dream of a lifetime, so my mission is to make it unforgettable. They also like to know that they will be taken care from the beginning till the end—which I know they will be with Paul Gauguin Cruises. The best reward is when they came back and told me that I was right about the intimate feeling aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin and that it was the most beautiful trip of their lives.
