Shore Excursion Terms & Conditions

Please note that not all shore excursions are available on all sailings. Descriptions and pricing may vary.  Shore excursions will not be available for pre-booking until 60 days prior to sailing (with the exception of the Romantic Escapades excursions) and can be added to your booking via the "Manage your trip" online tool.  If you have questions please contact our Reservation Department at 1 (800) 848-6172 for assistance.

Water Music Experience
2 Hours

Experience the diverse culture of Vanuatu during a unique performance by people who hail from Vanuatu's Bank and Torres Islands-smaller, remote islands to the north of Espiritu Santo. Departing from the pier enjoy a scenic ride along the coast before heading into the interior, where you'll arrive at a village inhabited by residents who hail from the Banks and Torres Islands. Here, you'll be greeted by fierce-looking warriors and presented with a refreshing coconut drink. Enjoy a cultural demonstration that includes the preparation of the ceremonial drink kava, dances, and other sacred rites. The highlight of this tour is the mystical water music of the remote island of Gaua, which is home to an active volcano and the largest volcanic lake in the South Pacific. Wearing traditional adornments of crowns and armbands fashioned from flowers and leaves, the women wade into the water up to their waists, then splash and clap their hands to make the percussion-based music, accompanied by singing that originated on their island.

Waverunner Adventure
2 Hours

Experience Moorea's idyllic coastal beauty in an exciting new way during this fun-filled waverunner adventure.

Depart the pier for the boat transfer to the waverunner center. Upon arrival, you will receive your safety and simple operating instructions from your guide, then embark your waverunner and begin your ride.

Led by your guide, you will cruise either along the west coast of Moorea or through the spectacular Opunohu Bay or Cook's Bay. Along the way, a stop will be made at Motu Ono for an opportunity to feed elegant and graceful rays as they swim around you in the shallow water. Fresh fruit and beverages will then be served on the motu.

Following your visit, you will be transferred to the waverunner center, then back to the pier.

Please note: This tour is priced per wave runner, which can accommodate two average-sized adults, maximum weight per wave runner is 500 lbs. Please select only one ticket for 2 guests. You will be required to wear a lifejacket during the ride, remain in line and follow no closer than 30- yards behind your guide. There is a small storage compartment on board the wave runner. The total wave runner ride is approximately 45-50 minutes. The minimum age to drive is 16 years and minimum 10 years to be accompanied by an adult. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition. Guests with back and/or neck problems are discouraged to participate on this tour.

WWII Historical Highlights Tour

The scene of the turning point of World War II in the Pacific theater, Guadalcanal boasts more war sites and relics than any other island in the Pacific. Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the monuments and museums that are of great significance Americans and Japanese alike. Accompanied by a licensed, professional, English-speaking driver/guide, you'll walk in the footsteps of the marines, soldiers, sailors, and airmen who fought in this iconic campaign as you visit sights such as the U.S. Memorial, the Bloody Ridge, Henderson Field and Memorial Garden, and the Coast Watchers Memorial Lighthouse. After your tour, you'll be transferred back to the ship.

Depart from Suva port for a 20-minute drive to Pacific Harbour and arrive at the zipline. In the heart of the tropical rainforest, just minutes from Pacific Harbour, Fiji's 'Adventure Capital', lies ZIP FIJI's private eco-reserve - a biological paradise. The guides help you use special equipment and techniques to experience this amazing wilderness from a unique perspective. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you WHOOSH over eight zip lines high above the forest floor and the Wainadoi River valley. Enjoy a classic 'canopy tour' with stunning views and thrilling rides while you experience the area's distinctive flora and fauna and local culture accompanied by English-speaking native guides.

Please note: Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty or wet and that will not interfere with the adjustment of the harness or helmet. Closed-toe sport shoes provide the best protection for your feet, however strap-on sandals are acceptable. Bring your camera, bottled water and insect repellent with you to the tour site. As it rains periodically throughout the day, you may want to bring a lightweight poncho or jacket or a change of clothing. Please bring a hair tie if you have long hair. Participants must be reasonably fit, weigh less than 135 kg (300 pounds), be at least 5 years of age and have a torso length of at least 45cm (18 inches). Children under legal age (18) must be accompanied by an adult. The tour is not recommended for persons with asthma, balance problems, epilepsy, heart problems, some disabilities, back, neck or shoulder problems or those who are pregnant.
