Guest Speaker

Aboard your ship, an English-speaking lecturer will enlighten you about the culture and history of your destination to deepen your knowledge of the origins of local traditions, the history of emblematic sites, and stories involving famous personalities and those of major historical significance. During on-board lectures or on your shore visits, this expert will be there to share their precious knowledge with you throughout your PONANT cruise.

Diving

During an introduction to scuba diving or a more advanced dive for holders of the necessary certifications (level 1 on yachting cruises and 2 on expedition cruises), explore the planet’s most beautiful underwater environments in the company of a PONANT diving instructor, as well as a local instructor when required by local legislation. They will ensure that your dives are conducted smoothly and safely: supervision of four certified divers at a time, evaluation of diving skills and experience, adherence to safety stops, zones and the maximum depth authorised.

A recent medical certificate (less than 12 months) must be presented at the beginning of the cruise to the main diving instructor.

Discover the marine life teeming in its coral reefs, glide over the water on a jet ski or glass-bottom boat, or embark on an off-road 4x4 safari offering breathtaking views. Day 1 – Papeete/Bora Bora

After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local representative.

You will be transferred to the Faa’a International Airport for your flight to Bora Bora.

Upon arriving at the Bora Bora Airport, a representative from Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts 4* will meet you and you will be transferred by boat to the resort where you will check-in to your overwater villa. 

Dinner at the hotel.

Days 2 & 3 – Bora Bora

After an included breakfast, spend your days at leisure enjoying the resort’s stunning setting. Lounge by the pool, skim across the lagoon on a rented sailboat, kayak or paddleboard—or sign up for a SCUBA course to discover the graceful marine life inhabiting the lagoon.

Lunches are on your own.

Dinners at the hotel.

Day 4 – Bora Bora/Papeete

Check out after an included breakfast and catch your boat transport to the Bora Bora Airport, where you will board your flight back to Papeete. Upon arriving Tahiti, a local representative will assist you in transporting to your Day Room at Le Tahiti by Pearl Resorts 4*. 

Check-in and then relax in your room or take advantage of the resort’s amenities. If time and availability allow, there is also a spa and a dive center at additional cost.

Lunch and dinner are on your own. You will then be transferred to the Faa’a International Airport  in time for check-in for thePONANT Cruises selected flight. 

This program includes the accommodation in Garden Villa with Pool at Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts. Lagoon Overwater Bungalow are also available on a supplement basis. Contact your travel professional for further detail.

One carry-on, the weight and size of which must not exceed 5 kg (11 lb) and 45 x 35 x 20 cm (17.6 in x 13.7 in x 7.8 in). The cabins and overhead lockers on the planes are not big enough to take extra items such as laptops, cameras, etc. All your cabin effects must fit into your luggage items, as described above.

Day 4 – Moorea/Papeete

Check out after an included breakfast and you will be transferred to the port of Moorea, to embark on a ferry to Papeete. Upon arriving in Tahiti, a local representative will assist you in transporting you to your Day Room at the Hilton Tahiti 4*.

Check-in and then relax in your room or take advantage of the resort’s amenities.

The Hilton Tahiti offers an ideal location, overlooking Moorea Island and close to the city centre. The elegant rooms are light and equipped with contemporary furniture for a warm and comfortable ambience. The hotel features a large outdoor pool, six bars and restaurants, a fitness centre and a spa.

Lunch and dinner are on your own. You will then be transferred to the Faa’a International Airport in time for check-in for the PONANT Cruises selected flight.
