Discover the mesmerizing beauty of the Marquesas, the Tuamotus and the Society Islands, three jewel-like archipelagos of soaring emerald-green peaks and pearlescent atolls bordered by turquoise lagoons. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2024, the Marquesas Islands are among the world’s most vertical islands, rising more than 1,200 meters (4,000 feet) like a verdant fortress in the heart of the indigo ocean. By contrast, the low-lying Tuamotu Islands float just above sea level. A veritable oceanic Eden of pure white sand and Technicolor coral reefs, they are home to Fakarava’s UNESCO Marine Biosphere Reserve rich with multi-coloured fish and enchanting underwater life. In the Society Islands, time seems to slow down. Fabled lagoons enlace motus bathed in light, sketching out idyllic beaches, while lush pitons watch over peaceful villages. A timeless journey, where dazzling nature and Polynesian traditions are as one.
