Please note that not all shore excursions are available on all sailings. Descriptions and pricing may vary. Shore excursions will not be available for pre-booking until approximately 60 days prior to sailing (with the exception of the Romantic Escapades excursions). New tours, not previously listed for online sales, may be available onboard without prior notice. Fakarava pinnacle snorkel
Fakarava, Tuamotu Islands

Experience the abundant marine life for which Fakarava is famous during this memorable snorkelling adventure.
Board your Zodiac® (or similar boat) for a 30-minute ride (each way) to the north pass in the lagoon. Your guide will give you safety instructions and information about the site before you enter the water from the boat. You will then start your snorkelling experience around the coral head, where you will discover a wide variety of species. Fish common to the area include sharks and tropical fish, including groupers, parrot fish, triggerfish, and others.
Following your tour, you will be transferred back to the ship.
- This deepwater activity is recommended only for experienced, strong swimmers in good physical condition who are comfortable wearing snorkelling equipment. Life vests will be available on the boat if needed. Although marine life is widely present in this region, sightings cannot be guaranteed, and tickets are nonrefundable should sightings not occur. For your own safety and to help us preserve the environment, do not touch or step on the coral reef while snorkelling.

ATV guided tour
Fakarava, Tuamotu Islands

Depart from the pier of Rotoava Village for a guided tour of the northern part of the island by ATV.
Pass by the airport on the way to the North Pass and visit the small ancestral temple, Teinoka. Along the way, you will also visit the old sea cucumber oven.
- For insurance purposes, each driving participant must present credit card details and a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age. The minimum age to ride as a passenger on this tour is 6 years old. During the tour, one bottle of water per person is offered. After the tour, guests will be offered a beverage of beer or juice per person. When prerequesting this tour, please select only one ticket.

Half day to Teahatea beach
Fakarava, Tuamotu Islands

Depart the ship by small local boats across the beautiful UNESCO biosphere reserve of Fakarava to the white sand beach of Teahatea just after the Garuae Pass.
The boat is (8 m) 50 long, special for excursions. It is equipped with all safety equipment and with a covered top and sides. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes depending on the weather conditions. You will have 2-2 ½ hours of free time to relax on the beach, enjoy a swim in the crystal clear lagoon or go snorkelling. Iced coconuts will be offered to you directly on the white sand beach and refreshments (fresh fruit juices, ice tea, and water) will be served.
You can relax and enjoy the tranquillity of this heavenly site.
- The boat ride maybe bumpy and rough depending on the sea conditions. No facilities are available on the beaches: no rest room, nor beach chairs or umbrellas. Bring your snorkelling gear, provided by the ship, along with a towel and sun protection: sunscreen, sunhat and sunglasses. The excursion is weather dependant, and the beach may be substituted with a different one.

Waverunner & snorkelling

Depart from Rotoava village for a short drive to the Wave runner Base. Commence your tour with a safety briefing, then continue your guided tour with a ride along the scenic coast, you will start your adventure and discover the Fakarava lagoon with your waver runner.
During your tour, you will have the opportunity to snorkel and one of the stops will be a visit to the black pearl shell lines.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Rotoava to embark your ship.
- One bottle of water per person is offered. Bring your snorkel gear from the ship. Operation of this tour is dependent upon weather and water conditions. This tour is priced per-waverunner, which will accommodate two average-sized adults (weight limit 500 lbs). When prerequesting this tour, please select only one ticket.

Full day tour to South Pass with snorkelling
Fakarava, Tuamotu Islands

From the Rotoava village, you will discover the Fakarava South Pass and Tetamanu by boat, starting with a short transfer to the pier. The first stop will be at a Pension (guest house) where you will have the opportunity to snorkel in deep water and see an impressive array of marine life, including turtles and sharks.
A buffet style lunch will be served including fresh fish; raw fish, grilled fish, rice, and coconut bread. Beverages are available for purchase. Continue your adventure to the famous Pink Sands and briefly stop to take in the beauty of the place.
Your tour will conclude with a cruise back to the northern part of the island and to Rotoava Village.
- The long boat ride from and to the South Pass can be bumpy depending on the weather and sea conditions. Not recommended for guests with back or neck problems or susceptible to seasickness. Please bring your snorkel gear, beach towel and cash from the ship.

E-Bike tour of Rotoava & the North shore

View the village of Rotoava on a beautiful scenic guided tour by e-bike. Explore the surrounding area which includes viewing the Topaka lighthouse, airport, and Catholic Church. Cycle inside the verdant coconut grove, along the ocean side of the island; the overall distance is approximately 15 km.
- The level is easy to moderate and pedalling is required! E-bike is a bike with electric assistance. The tour includes one bottle of water and complimentary use of a helmet.

Hapatoni discovery
Hapatoni, Tahuata Island

Discover the charm of the Marquesan wilderness on a visit to the island of Tahuata, accompanied by your on-board lecturer in anthropology and archaeology.
Boarding an all-terrain vehicle in the village of Hapatoni, you will make your way to the village of Vaitahu, where you will learn about the island’s history during a visit the small museum located at city hall. You will also visit the old church en route to a spectacular scenic lookout, where you will be surrounded by magnificent mountain peaks piercing the sky.
Continue your exploration of the stunning landscape and quaint villages of Tahuata during this introduction to the beauty that is so characteristic of the Marquesas.
- As this tour involves travel over uneven terrain, it is not recommended for guests with back and/or neck problems. This tour involves very little walking. Guests are encouraged to wear insect repellent to ward off small beach mosquitoes (nonos). Each vehicle will accommodate four guests. Although the drivers used are the best available, they are not guides, and their command of English is poor. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Island tour by wave runner
Huahine, Society Islands

Experience Huahine's wild beauty in an exciting new way during this fun-filled wave runner adventure.
Depart the pier and transfer to the launching point in Fare, Huahine's main village. After your guide gives you safety and riding instructions, you will enjoy a wave runner ride of about an hour in the lagoon, admiring Huahine's magnificent landscape from the perspective of the water. You will also have time to stop for a swim before returning to the wave runner launching point for your transfer back to the pier.
- Operation of this tour is dependent upon weather and water conditions. This tour is priced per wave-runner, which will accommodate two average-sized adults (maximum weight of 500lbs total). When requesting online, please select only one ticket per wave runner. Participants must wear the life jacket provided, remain in line, and follow thirty yards behind the wave runner in front of them. The minimum age for participating in this tour is 15 years old to drive and 5 years old to ride as a passenger (depending on weather conditions). Guests are encouraged to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, sunscreen, and sunglasses, and to bring a towel from the ship. Each wave runner has a small storage compartment.

Island tour & snorkelling (per boat)
Huahine, Society Islands

Experience the beauty of Huahine from above and below the water during this snorkeling and cruise adventure.
Depart the pier by private boat and discover the beauty of Huahine as you cruise around the island. Along the way, you will stop to visit a black pearl farm and learn about the creation and the beauty of these famous Tahitian gems.
You will then continue your cruise to a beautiful coral garden, where you will don your snorkeling equipment and enter the water for up-close views of the amazing and colorful marine life that frequents the reef. Enjoy refreshments on your ride back to the pier.
- The cost of this tour is per boat, which can accommodate up to four guests. When requesting online, please select only one ticket per boat. Guests are encouraged to wear a swimsuit under a cover up, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and to bring a towel from the ship. Snorkeling equipment, fins, and life vests are available at the ship’s on-board watersports marina.

ATV tour of Huahine Nui
Huahine, Society Islands

Transfer from the pier to Fare Maeva for an easy test drive on the ATV quads.
Then start the exciting island exploration by discovering the coast of the Motu Maeva with its white sandy beaches, Marae Manunue (an ancient Polynesian temple). Stop for a refreshing coconut drink at chez 'Nini' before continuing for some snorkeling at the Sofitel Heiva's beach.
Afterwards the tour will take you past Fare Potee and Marae Rauhuru and the ancient Fish Traps in Lake Fauna Nui, and then onto the Sacred Eels at Faie before stopping at Belvedere for photo-opportunity of the Maroe Bay and the ship.
- The cost of this tour is per ATV, which can accommodate two average-sized adults. The tour is easy to moderate and the drive is partially offroad driving and partially on paved roads. Not recommended for pregnant women, guests suffering from back & neck problems and -children under 5 years old. Driving license is mandatory and drivers must be a minimum of 18 years old. Please bring snorkel gear, beach towel, bottled water, sunglasses from the ship. Please wear your swim wear under clothing.

Lagoon cruise & snorkelling
Huahine, Society Islands

Experience Huahine's beautiful lagoon and landscapes on this boat cruise and snorkeling excursion.
Depart the pier by outrigger canoe (motorized). Upon arrival to the snorkeling spot you will receive safety and snorkeling instructions before entering the water with abundant fish, coral and marine life. Sample coconuts, fresh season fruits and refreshments. Transfer back to the pier.
- The tour is recommended for experienced snorkeler who are comfortable entering the lagoon directly from the boat, and snorkell ing in deep water where currents are common. Snorkeling equipment, fins and life vests are available at the Marina from the ship. The boat capacity depends on the group size.
