Experience Bora Bora's Island exquisite topography from a unique perspective during this picturesque flight seeing tour.

Depart the pier for the brief transfer to the helipad. After boarding your helicopter, you will take off for a 30-minute flight seeing tour over Bora Bora, the Pearl of the Pacific. You will then head towards north and enjoy a bird’s eye view over the famous heart-shaped island, Tupai. Along the way, you can use the headphones to listen to your pilot's commentary as he points out the sights below. Your bird's-eye view of Bora Bora will include spectacular views and photo opportunities of the world's most beautiful lagoon and reefs, along with manta rays and sharks, an adventure some call Heli-snorkeling. You will then circle Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora's highest peak.

After you flight you will get back to the pier.

  • This tour is subject to cancellation with little or no notice due to operational reasons from the operator. A minimum of four guests per flight is required (Private flights for 2&3 passengers can be arranged at a supplement). The helicopter is air-cooled. Due to safety, weight limitations and balance, the pilot will perform seat assignments. Not suitable for scuba divers after dives. Transfers for two flights may be organized at the same time, in which case a waiting time is to be expected.

Island drive & belvedere

Explore Moorea's exquisite beauty and day-to-day Polynesian lifestyle during this scenic orientation drive around the island. Depart the pier for a scenic and relaxing drive around Moorea. The distance around this idyllic island is approximately 38 miles (62 kilometers), and your ride offers many spectacular sites and photo opportunities. You will ride past pineapple fields and visit an ancient Tahitian stone temple, or marae, en route to Belvedere.

At the summit, take in magnificent views of Cook's Bay, Opunohu Bay, and Mt. Rotui. Your ride continues on through the village of Papetoai and past the nearby tombs of the first missionaries. Your coach will return to the pier via the other side of the island. Along the way, you will pass through the districts of Haapiti and Afareitu, then make a photo stop at the Ia Ora lookout point before arriving at the pier. And enjoy your guide's commentary about the daily lives of the Polynesian island residents all along the way.

  • The order of sites visited may vary. Limited restroom stops. This tour is not recommended for guests who suffer from motion sickness. The guides commentary features information pertaining to daily living in Moorea; but does not include historical, cultural, or political facts or details.

POST CRUISE RELAXING SOJOURN IN MOOREA AND TAHITI

Day 1 – Papeete/Moorea

After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local representative.

You will be transferred to your ferry to Moorea. Upon arriving Moorea, you will be met by a representative from the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort 5* and be transferred to the resort.

After check-in, the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 2 & 3 – Moorea

Set against a stunning mountain backdrop melting into a crystal clear lagoon with views over the island of Tahiti, the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort is the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. The bungalows, built over the water or surrounded by landscaped gardens, are made from natural materials and feature a rain shower. Day 4 – Moorea/Papeete

Check out after an included breakfast and you will be transferred to the port of Moorea, to embark on a ferry to Papeete. Upon arriving in Tahiti, a local representative will assist you in transporting you to your Day Room at the Hilton Tahiti 4*.

The Hilton Tahiti offers an ideal location, overlooking Moorea Island and close to the city centre. Day 1 – Papeete/Bora Bora

After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local representative.

You will be transferred to the Faa’a International Airport for your flight to Bora Bora.

Upon arriving at the Bora Bora Airport, a representative from the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa 5* will meet you and you will be transferred by boat to the resort where you will check-in to your overwater villa.

Days 2 & 3 – Bora Bora

Located on Motu Piti Aau, a small coral island on the barrier reef, The InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa is an eco-friendly jewel. The Deep Ocean Spa offers luxurious treatments utilizing nutrients extracted from the deep-sea water of the South Pacific. After an included breakfast, spend your days at leisure enjoying the resort’s stunning setting. Day 4 – Bora Bora/Papeete

Check out after an included breakfast and catch your boat transport to the Bora Bora Airport, where you will board your flight back to Papeete. Upon arriving Tahiti, a local representative will assist you in transporting to your Day Room at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa 4*.

Check-in and then relax in your room or take advantage of the resort’s amenities. Located on a vibrant blue lagoon, the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort & Spa is the ideal base to relax as you transition from vacation to your journey home. You will have access to all hotel amenities including two freshwater swimming pools, a beach, and an overwater restaurant. Lunch and dinner are on your own. You will then be transferred to the Faa’a International Airport  in time for check-in for the PAUL GAUGUIN Cruises selected flight.

Enjoy breakfast aboard Le Paul Gauguin before checking out and disembarking.

Our local representative will greet you at the pier and you will depart by coach on an island exploration.

After passing through downtown Papeete, you will arrive at the district of Arue to visit "James Norman Hall Home". This memorial museum is the exact replica of the original elegant green colonial home of this famous writer. Most known for the "Mutiny on the Bounty" trilogy and other known novels that were transformed into Hollywood movies.

You will then continue to Venus Point on Matavai Bay. Here you will see a Victorian-era lighthouse and monument commemorating the passage of Captain James Cook who came to observe the transit of Venus in 1769 as part of his work for the Royal Society.

Next, a stop will be allowed at Tahara'a "One Tree Hill". The lookout provides impressive panoramic views across the "Sea of Moons" with Tahiti’s sister island, Moorea.

The tour will end at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa 4*, where you will have lunch.

After lunch, check in to your Day Room. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon/evening relaxing in your room or taking advantage of two freshwater swimming pools and a beach.
